How Can severe Radiating Pain From The Hip To Knee Be Treated?

Pain in my right hip, radiates down my leg...particularly painful in right knee and lower quad.... keeping me up at night, especially when I sleep on my right side, which I usually do (we have a good Tempurpedic bed) sometimes...feels worse in the morning

first the cause should be investigated
any injury
infection/ inflammation
excess body weight
any osteopenia or osteoporosis
arthritic changes
or anything/ everything contributing should be eliminated

use rest
calcium, multivitamins nutritious diet will speed up recovery while
anti inflammatory medication will help to relieve pain while you take care not to overdose to cause stomach ulcers
physiotherapy if needed based on the diagnosis will help too.
